Dr. Prof. Deng is devoted to the research of new technologies for "liquid biopsy" in oncology. He has published SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author in journals such as Nature Medicine and Biosensors and Bioelectronics. He has presided over three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as projects funded by the Chongqing Natural Science Foundation and key projects of the Chongqing Health Commission. He holds three international and domestic invention patents, has received a second prize for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, and has guided students to win the Chongqing Gold Award and the National Bronze Award in the China College Students "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
