Professor, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Vice-chair, Clinical Enterprise Strategy, and Director, Clinical Mass Spectrometry and Toxicology Laboratory, Regional Toxicology Laboratory, and Clinical Chemistry.
Victoria Zhang, PhD, MBA, is focused on developing a vision and strategies for standardization and efficiency for clinical laboratory services across all entities within the University of Rochester Medicine enterprise consisting one large academic teaching hospital, five affiliated hospitals and over 200 reference clients. She is currently the Professor, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Vice-chair, Clinical Enterprise Strategy, and Director, Clinical Mass Spectrometry and Toxicology Laboratory, Regional Toxicology Laboratory, and Clinical Chemistry.
Since Zhang joined URMC in 2011, she has taken on key leadership responsibilities both within the department and in national and international organizations. She is the Past Chair and Treasurer of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) regional section and the Past President and Advisor of the North American Chinese Clinical Chemists Association (NACCCA).
